ZZHellboy star Ron Perlman would have long abandoned his acting career if it wasn’t for French director Jean-Jacques Annaud. Now, he has been a part of the entertainment industry since 1981. He rose to fame in 1995 when he played the role of Vincent opposite Linda Hamilton in the television series Beauty and The Beast.

The star has always had a reputation for being vocal about serious topics. The most recent instance is of him unleashing his wrath on people who are being rude to the WGA people on strike. His opinions often end up becoming topics of controversy but he doesn’t seem to care too much about that.

Hellboy star Ron Perlman recently posted a video in which he uses NSFW language while calling out a studio executive who rather blatantly expressed his intentions for the screenwriters in WGA strike. The studio exec said, “The endgame is to allow things to drag on until union members start losing their apartments and losing their houses,

In the 55-second long video, Perlman said,

“Listen to me, motherf**ker, there’s a lot of ways to lose your house. Some of it is financial, some of it is karma, and some of it is just figuring out who the f**k said that — and we know who said that — and where he f**king lives. Be careful, motherf**ker. Be really careful, ’cause that’s the kind of s**t that stirs s**t up.”

The actor concluded the video saying, “Peace out.”

Perlman was clearly unhappy with the studio exec’s statement as were many others who supported his views by expressing their opinion on the video.

AMPTP and many studios believe that the WGA strike will be called in October off due to financial reasons. The studios think that by standing their ground they will be able to dictate the terms and conditions on which the writers will be willing to work to avoid being out of money on Christmas. However, a spokesperson for AMPTP has publicly said that this is not true.

The spokesperson said, “These anonymous people are not speaking on behalf of the AMPTP or member companies, who are committed to reaching a deal and getting our industry back to work.

SAG-AFTRA joining WGA in the strike is clearly putting a lot of pressure on the studios and the AMPTP as all the productions of the Hollywood entertainment industry come to a halt one after the other.
