“He’s just a glove puppet with no more control”: Meghan Markle Accused of Making “Vivid Bedroom Promises” to Prince Harry and Controlling His Facial Expressions During Public Appearances
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been under fire even before the release of their Netflix docuseries. The docuseries Harry & Meghan was released earlier this month and has given rise to more controversies for the couple. Both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanted to share their side of the story through the docuseries. However, things did not turn out the way they expected.
After the release of the docuseries, an English journalist accused the Duchess of controlling her husband. Jeremy Clarkson shared his thoughts about the Netflix original and claimed that the Suits star used vivid bedroom promises to keep Prince Harry under her control.
Meghan Markle Accused of Controlling Prince Harry’s Actions
Jeremy Clarkson made some huge allegations about Meghan Markle in his last week column on The Sun. The journalist claimed that the Duchess controls her husband’s actions on her own ‘beck and call’. Clarkson claimed that the Duke of Sussex no longer has control over what he does or says, as he is nothing more but a “glove puppet” to his wife.
In his column in The Sun, Clarkson accused Markle of using “vivid bedroom promises to turn him into a warrior of woke.” He went on the claim, “And now it seems that she has her arm so far up his bottom, she can use her fingers to alter his facial expressions.”
Jeremy Clarkson then shared that he feels sorry for Prince Harry and “despair” for younger people, “especially girls” who think she is very cool. He further mentioned in his column that people think she was a prisoner of Buckingham Palace since the beginning. The columnist also claimed that Meghan Markle’s every action has been pre-planned.
Jeremy Clarkson’s Column Sparks Outrage
Jeremy Clarkson’s column about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry has caused huge outrage. The press regulator, IPSO, has received more than 20,000 complaints. It is still receiving complaints over the article in which Clarkson expressed his “hate” towards the Duchess of Sussex.
Followed by criticism, the journalist took to Twitter and said, “Oh dear. I’ve rather put my foot in it.” In his tweet, he further mentioned that he is horrified to cause so much hurt and that he would try to be more careful in the future.
IPSO has said that complaints are being addressed according to their standards. The article with over 22,000 complaints has made it to the top of the organization’s most complained-about articles.
Following the backlash, Jeremy Clarkson asked The Sun to take his column down. The Sun has removed the article from its website and replaced it with his recent tweet.
