While Charlie Sheen was the heart of Two and a Half Men, he was fired from the show due to many controversies surrounding him. While his co-star refused to support and talk about him, Jane Lynch gave a different perspective of the 57-year-old.

Lynch, popularly known for her role as Sue Sylvester on Glee, was part of reoccurring character on Two and a Half Men. She played the therapist, Linda Freeman, on the show. Her character was a plot device to help the three main characters—Charlie, Alan, and Jake overcome their issues with each other. 

When asked about Sheen and his departure from the show, the Glee star had positive words for the actor. 

She said, “He’s one of the nicest guys and a true leader on that set.”

The actress even mentioned how she thoroughly enjoyed working with the Platoon star. 

She added, “He’s going through his stuff now, but there’s a really solid, wonderful person in there, and I love him very much.”

Sheem and the 62-year-old were reunited on the FX sitcom Anger Management.

Considered one of the highest-paid actors in the Hollywood industry, Sheen’s downfall was excruciating. It started in 2011 when he got fired from the famous sitcom. A string of personal scandals put the actor in trouble. He got into a feud with Warner Bros. 

The Wall Street actor had a history of substance abuse, which ballooned into serious addiction over a while. He even took his shot on the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre, by calling him some choice words like ‘turd’, ‘clown’, ‘charlatan’, and ‘p*ssy. This drama led to the actor’s departure from the show. His character was killed off in the series. They had him fall on the subway tracks in Paris and killed by a train.
