“How embarrassing for him to live like this”: Ben Shapiro’s 43-Minute Rant Against Barbie for ‘Woke Propaganda’ Backfires as Fans Troll Him Back
The first live-action movie based on the popular Mattel doll, Barbie, has been well-received by critics. Barbie, a perfect doll who has an existential crisis and exits Barbieland for the real world, is the subject of the movie directed by Greta Gerwig, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
Barbie encounters the harsh realities of life in the real world, such as misogyny, body image problems, and social pressure to fit in. She does, however, also come across allies and learns to accept her imperfections. Although audiences and critics have given the film favorable reviews, it appears that someone genuinely disliked it.
The 39-year-old conservative political commentator Bob Shapiro rambled on about the movie Barbie for 43 minutes in a YouTube video.
What criticisms did Ben Shapiro have regarding Barbie?
The conservative political conservator Ben Shapiro, 39, recently uploaded a lengthy 43-minute tirade to YouTube with the intention of instigating large-scale demonstrations against the PG-13 movie Barbie starring Margot Robbie. He is seen burning Barbie dolls in the video before launching into a string of complaints against the film. His criticism of a trans woman who was cast as Barbie is among his complaints, and he goes into great detail about the numerous notes he made when watching the movie earlier in the week.
Shapiro’s viewing experience made him aware that most of the audience were mothers of young daughters. He complained in the title of the video that “Barbie” was “one of the most woke movies” he had ever seen, despite being present in the theater himself. In contrast to the original Barbie dolls, Ken was portrayed as “annoying and ridiculous,” which was a major focus of his criticism.

Shapiro also took issue with Hari Nef’s portrayal of a cheery Doctor Barbie. Shapiro raised skepticism about the transgender actress Nef’s portrayal of the role by noting her deeper voice. He went on to say that the movie was specifically made to divide men and women, calling it “angry feminist claptrap” that alienates both sexes.
However, Shapiro’s critique drew criticism in return. Social media users swarmed platforms with negative comments in response to Shapiro’s obsession with trashing the Barbie movie.
Ben Shapiro was trolled by fans
A lot of people were upset by Ben Shapiro’s recent 43-minute tirade against the film Barbie and hence his comments met with quite a backlash. A recent tweet from a user wrote “How embarrassing for him to live like this” because to witness an adult man complain nonstop for 43 minutes about Barbie was too much. He continued by saying that Shapiro is nothing more than a wannabee film reviewer.

Another Twitter user made fun of Shapiro’s hair rather than going so far as to question his intelligence.
What I get from that video thumbnail is that he has a terrible dye job. And I’m not talking about Ken.

One Twitter user recently stated that given his lack of talent in other areas, this is actually the best use of his time. He truly shines only at making a 43-minute video in which he rants about a movie based on dolls.
It's the best use of his time and very limited talent. Let him focus on dolls and his obviously thwarted fantasies about them.

It appears that Ben Shapiro’s plan to give the movie a bad review has backfired. Fans of Barbie are displeased, to say the least with his analysis.
