Marvel’s  Tigra & Dazzler and Howard the Duck series are officially over, as the media giant cancels both shows before making it screen. Howard the Duck is one of the most irreverent characters of Marvel Comics.

He’s been portrayed on the big screen with Lea Thompson several times in Howard the Duck film. Howard also featured in both Avengers: Endgame and Guardians of the Galaxy.

As per Variety reports, both Howard the Duck and Tigra & Dazzler are no longer in process at Marvel. Hit-Monkey and M.O.D.O.K. are moving as per plan.

All four series will team up for The Offenders, with a similar concept to Marvel’s now-canceled Netflix shows did in The Defenders. However, with this news, that event is not happening now.

Meanwhile, Tigra and Dazzler are one of those two Marvel characters who haven’t shared the screen before, making a potential series worth watching. Dazzler is a part of the X-Men, with Halston Sage playing the singer in X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Dazzler has also, over the years, appeared in several other animated series.

Tigra, who made her comic debut under the name “The Cat” in the early 1970s, has been portrayed less often in other forms of media. So far, she’s only appeared on T.V. in the short-lived series, The Avengers: United They Stand. However, like Dazzler, Tigra has played a role in several Marvel video games.

Marvel’s decision to stop two shows!

The cancellations of Howard the Duck and Tigra & Dazzler define how Marvel TV is doesn’t want to work with other streamers and networks in exchange for putting its content on its parent company’s banner Disney+. Though Hulu is also majority-owned by Disney, it doesn’t have the immediate connection that Disney+ does.

In this case, Marvel decided to stop the development of the two new shows. Though fans of Howard the Duck and Tigra & Dazzler are probably sad to hear that neither sequence will make it screen at this time, that doesn’t mean it won’t happen in the future.
