She has also won a Screen Actors Guild Award for her work in the biographical drama film The Blind Side. Her other notable works include Speed, A Time to Kill, and The Prince of Egypt.
The actress married motorcycle builder Jesse James but later divorced him in 2010. However, 14 years have passed since the divorce and both of them are living completely opposite lives. The divorce has put them in opposite situations. While the former is set to feature in an upcoming sequel, the latter is in big trouble.

Lately, life has been treating James a bit harshly while his ex-wife’s career is hitting new heights. American entrepreneur Jesse James is going through a rough phase, running to courts to defend himself from being announced guilty because of his dogs (via In Touch).
The 55-year-old has been sued by one of his former employees and if the court accepts the charges, James will have to cough out almost $250,000. The plaintiff, Karen Sanchez Roberts, has filed a case claiming that James’s dogs attacked her which left her with a fracture and stitches.
She explained that she was trying to pacify the fight between James’ dogs on April 11, 2023, but the tables turned and she herself became a victim. She added that it was James’ fault as he didn’t give her specific and expert instructions about handling the dogs.
While James is struggling with a lawsuit, Bullock is working on her upcoming movie, Practical Magic 2. In June 2024, Bullock along with Nicole Kidman confirmed that they will present themselves as Sally and Gillian respectively in the sequel of Practical Magic.
What Do We Know About Practical Magic 2 So Far?
After almost 26 years, it has been confirmed that the 1998 comedy-fantasy movie, Practical Magic, is getting its sequel. The sequel, Practical Magic 2, will be produced by Denise Di Novi and will star both Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock as their original characters.
After Warner Bros. green signaled to the movie, Novi announced that the plot of the sequel would follow the narrative of Alice Hoffman’s novel, The Book of Magic. Novi has also promised the fans that the movie will stay faithful to the original’s spirit and characters. She told Entertainment Weekly:
I think fans are going to be very pleased. We are going to be very faithful. We are cognizant of how important those characters and that movie are to so many people.
Apart from Kidman and Bullock, Novi is also expecting the return of Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest as the eccentric aunts, and Evan Rachel Wood as Sally’s daughter. Considering the plan, fans can expect an amazing sequel to Griffin Dunne’s 1998 wonder.
