However, everything is starting to look possible with Deadpool & Wolverine as the movie has already made $824 million globally (via Variety) just after two weekends of release. It is very likely that by the end of its theatrical run, it is going to earn $1 billion.
This has not only made it the highest-grossing movie of the year but also the highest-grossing movie of the Deadpool trilogy. It is also the third highest-grossing R-rated movie, with Oppenheimer and Joker in the second and first positions, respectively.
