Rihanna has decided in favor of a simple outfit this time for this year’s Met Gala as compared to her previous outfits. She told Extra as much.
“I’m actually keeping it real simple this year… It’s gonna come to what my makeup and what my hair is going to do. Very simple-ish… compared to everything I have done — I am showing up for dinner!”
While having a chat with Extra‘s Terri Seymour, Rihanna announced that she is definitely going to present herself in a very simple outfit while attending the Met Gala 2024. It’s quite appreciable how despite being such a famous face, Rihanna wants to enjoy keeping its simple this time around.
Rihanna Opened Up About Her New Product and Motherhood
Apart from announcing her surprising decision regarding her upcoming Met Gala outfit, Rihanna also revealed a lot of other things about herself. While talking to Terri Seymour, the singer expressed how she is against using makeup that is very oily. Instead, her comfort lies in a rather soft, glowy, and natural makeup.
She mentioned that her homeland is the inspiration behind her new product. Her inclination towards skin-friendly beauty products proves that she is really concerned about the quality of what she is about to deliver. Her dedication to her work is really impressive.
Further, Rihanna also explained how after being a mother, she regularly experiences an urge to change her fashion habits. She told Extra:
“When you become a mom, your style goes from ‘blah’ to ‘let’s see what fits’ to ‘I’m gonna be a bad b*tch today.’ You’ve got to remind yourself sometimes that you’re still in there.”
Rihanna also expressed how she wants to celebrate her son’s birthday. She insisted that more than trying to organize a big party, and is interested in doing something that her son personally finds enjoyable. It looks like Rihanna prioritizes her role as a mother more than her social status.
