“I can not believe it”: Cara Delevingne Shares a Good News After Massive Fire Destroys Her $7 Million Worth LA House

Supermodel Cara Delevingne is best known for playing a bit of a goth and quirky role in movies and TV shows. Her deep voice and slender figure make her stand out from the crowd. The actress is busy performing in theatre these days with the latest play being the famous Cabernet. However, Delevingne’s life is far from paradise as she recently shared how a devastating fire broke out in her LA home and destroyed her precious belongings.

Cara Delevingne’s LA House Catches Fire

At the dawn of March 15, 2024, Cara Delevingne got the heartbreaking news that her LA house had been caught in a fire while the actress was in London for her theatre performance, as reported by TMZ. The $7 million house in question is in Studio City, California. The fire rose exponentially as the firefighters arrived and emptied the house. The roof of the house collapsed, destroying almost everything in the two-story house.

The model also shared Instagram stories to inform her followers of the news and express how heartbroken she is over it all. She expressed her gratitude towards the fire crew that arrived on time and curtailed the fire before it got any worse. After over two hours of hard work, the fire was subdued and the process of searching the premises began. Delevingne shared in her Instagram stories,

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the firefighters and people who have showed up to help. My heart is broken today… I cannot believe it. Life can change in the blink of an eye. So cherish what you have.”

She wrote this on the picture of her two cats who reportedly were in the house when the fire broke out. It all happened so fast, that the crew had to rush in to save the cats and the housesitter from the fire. The model was relieved to find that no one was hurt in the incident.

What Caused The Fire?

Delevingne’s parents Charles and Pandora Delevingne shared the cause of the fire with paparazzi at the play. They believe it had something to do with the electrical wiring of the house and the strong winds in the area further aggravated the situation. Understandably, Delevingne is shaken after such a loss since her whole life was contained within the walls of her house.

The actress and model mourns the loss of her valuable personal belongings and would have to start afresh after such a tragic incident. Previously, she described her 6,650-square-foot home as an “adult playhouse” when Architectural Digest featured her residence in their magazine. Her home was not an ordinary place since it exhibited all of Delevingne’s moods and themes. The extravagant home at Gucci wallpapers and indulgent carpets spread across the house.
