It’s never easy to film an s*x scene for television. It’s even more embarrassing having your husband watch that daring scene and then write about it in their autobiography. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to have encountered this incredibly specific and relatable situation, according to a recently published excerpt from the former’s memoir. The press has received snippets of Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir Spare, which is scheduled to be published on January 10. While no media outlets have received any official excerpts, small portions have already been leaked. The Duke of Sussex confessed that he googled his girlfriend’s bold scenes and later admitted it was a “mistake” to watch her s*x scenes in Suits when they began dating.
The couple started dating in the middle of 2016 while Meghan was filming her final season of the popular American legal drama, Suits.
Prince Harry’s regret over stalking wife’s daring s*x scene
Prince Harry makes a number of shocking claims in his brand-new book Spare. He described how he now regrets searching for Meghan Markle‘s bold love scenes in Suits. The legal drama, which aired from 2009 to 2019, followed a college dropout who worked for a New York City law firm. Meghan Markle’s husband expressed discomfort after viewing her intimate scenes, in which the 40-year-old Duchess appeared as Rachel Zane, the protagonist Mike Ross’ love interest.
According to a saucy anecdote from Page Six, the Duke of Sussex claimed he needs “electric-shock therapy” after watching the s*x scenes starring Meghan Markle, to get it out of his head. In his autobiography, Prince Harry writes that he “made the mistake of Googling and watching some of her love scenes online” when they began dating.
He penned, “I witnessed her and her colleague tormenting each other in some office or conference room.”
“I didn’t need to see those things live.”
Meghan Markle’s s*x scene from Suits
Who would have imagined back in 2013 that American legal drama Suits actress Meghan Markle would go on to have a fairytale princess marriage? The bold scene to which Prince Harry seems to be referring takes place in the second season finale of the show. It occurred when Markle’s character Rachel confessed her love for Mike Ross, played by actor Patrick J. Adams. In fact, there are several clips of the couple from the TV show that are available online, particularly in the scene where they hook up following a heated argument in the filing room.
However, it doesn’t seem like Prince Harry was the only one who didn’t find the scene satisfying. In 2012, when the show’s second season was being promoted, Markle and her co-star were questioned about their most embarrassing scenes. Even in another chapter of his autobiography, Prince Harry asserted that Prince William “attacked” him at his Nottingham Cottage residence after calling Markle “rude” and “difficult.” There were several racy and obscene moments that viewers couldn’t stop talking about, even though that was supposed to be Markle and Patrick’s first s*x scene.
Most fans assume what Prince Harry and other members of the royal family might have thought of those clips. Following that, Markle had to leave the show after she got involved with the royal family, and Adams also said goodbye to his famous character. Fans, however, can’t help but watch those suggestive exchanges between the two cast members repeatedly.
