“I didn’t want history to repeat itself”: Prince Harry Believes Meghan Markle Will Face Princess Diana’s Fate for Revealing The Truth About Royal Family in Fiery Netflix Documentary
The anticipated Netflix docuseries featuring the royal British couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is finally around the corner. It will revolve around the pair from their early stages in the relationship to the struggles they went through after the couple went official. Glimpses of their struggle was what appeared in the latest teaser in the upcoming series, Harry & Meghan.
In the latest trailer of the documentary series, the Duke of Sussex was worried about his wife after recalling the history of women belonging to the royal family.
Prince Harry Concerned After Meghan Markle Came into His Life
The 38-year-old royal, Prince Harry recalls the history of women who entered the royal family and how they were treated by them. In a minute-long teaser of their docuseries, Harry & Meghan, the Duke of Sussex states, “It’s really hard to look back on it now and go: ‘What on earth happened?’”
He continued to narrate in the later portion stating, “There’s a hierarchy of the family, you know, there’s leaking, but there’s also planting of stories. It’s a dirty game.”
“The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy,” he narrates while his late mother Princess Diana’s clip was displayed on the screen.
Having seen the tragic story of women involved in the institution, he was afraid that his wife, Meghan Markle might have to go through the same when she entered into the family.
“I was terrified,” Harry responds. “I didn’t want history to repeat itself.”
The 41-year-old Duchess of Sussex met the prince for the first time in 2016, with the pair getting married on May 19, 2018. The couple shares two children, son, Archie and daughter, Lilibet.
Harry & Meghan Series: ‘It’s About Hatred’!
The upcoming series, Harry & Meghan will release the first three episodes this Thursday on Netflix while the second volume will be premiered on December 15. In the trailer, Markle shared, “I realized, they’re never going to protect you.”
Other than the pair, the commentators also appeared and shared a glimpse of what to expect from the series.
Bot Sentinel founder Christopher Bouzy stated in the teaser, “It’s about hatred, it’s about race.” Another commented, “There was a war against Meghan to suit other people’s agendas.”
It also includes the narration of Piers Morgan who described the mother of two as a “royal rockstar.”
In the last week’s trailer, the couple’s unseen pictures were made public through the series which apparently saw Markle crying and a glimpse of the pair’s new life in the U.S.
Harry & Meghan will begin streaming on Netflix from December 8.
