Michael B. Jordan clarified about his ‘rumored relationship’ with Kendall Jenner
Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan was linked to Kardashian clan member Kendall Jenner in 2015 after the two of them were spotted leaving the MET Gala after party at the same time. The rumors of the two of them dating started to circle; however, the sources close to the duo denied it immediately.
In an interview with GQ, Michael B. Jordan decided to address the rumored romance by explaining why his fans were hostile to the idea of them seeing each other. He said at the time,
It’s the world we live in. They see white and black. I don’t. Kendall’s a friend of mine, you know. I don’t know her, like that well, but I know her enough. People’s perspective on that is what it is. I don’t f**king know. I don’t live my life to make other people happy.
Jordan also explained during the interview that a lot of Black fans were feeling that he should have been with a Black woman. He further mentioned that people should understand that people can like anyone, and they don’t have to be necessarily from the same history or culture.
But the actor noted that relationship was not on his radar at the moment because he was focused on his career. He shared that he told himself when he was young that his 20s would just be about his work. Jordan further mentioned,
I understand what females want and need. I am good at that. I don’t know if I’m the guy to give it to them right now. I’m emotionally unavailable. Until I find something that’s so undeniable that I can’t help myself.
Jordan had mentioned at the time that a lot of women do not agree with the agenda. He had added at the time that at the end of the day, it’s his family that matters to him the most.
The actor shared with the publication that he cannot have regrets in his life, so he said to himself that he’d work in his 20s, and by mid-30s, he could live a little.

I’m not tripping over it. I’m so work-focused. I would want somebody to fit into the flow of my life, of where I am. And that’s timing, right? You can meet the right person and be at the wrong time, and it just doesn’t work out.
Michael B. Jordan has once again shifted his focus back to his career and explained that he knows that there is going to be the right person for him who’d enter his life at the right time. He added that he wants to keep that equal balance once he has a family in the future.
