John Mayer’s witty response to Katy Perry’s ranking of his s*xual prowess created quite a buzz among fans and social media users. The exchange took place on Corden’s talk show, where Perry was asked to rank the s*xual abilities of three of her partners – Diplo, Orlando Bloom, and Mayer.

While describing all three as amazing lovers, she ranked Mayer first, followed by Bloom in second and Diplo in third, with the reasoning that he’s a DJ.

New Light performer was vague in response to Perry’s praises and added, “I don’t have a cool-enough thought for you,” he continued,

“I’ve hacked this game. I pay very little of the price of fame now. I get to play the music that moves me the most. I’m having the time of my life. I’m 39 – I remember 32. I don’t wanna do it again.”

The exchange highlighted the on-and-off relationship between Perry and 45 year old who had dated for several years before finally ending things in 2015. The humorous response by Mayer showed that he had a knack for taking things lightly and not taking himself too seriously.

Diplo, who was ranked third, also made light of the ranking by joking, he tweeted, I don’t even remember having s*x.” Further, he jokingly added that he, “won the bronze medal in [the] s*x Olympics.”

During an interview, Perry also discussed why she had chosen to respond against Taylor Swift in their long-running feud.

When Perry was asked if her remarks regarding the 33-year-old went against her point of view, she responded,

“I said that but, I mean, I’m not Buddha – things irritate me. I wish that I could turn the other cheek every single time, but I’m also not a pushover, you know? Especially when someone tries to assassinate my character with little girls [their respective fan groups]. That’s so messed up!”

She recently claimed that Swift started the feud and addressed rumors that her new song Swish Swish is about her rival.

During the interview, Perry also addressed the rumors surrounding her long-term producer and songwriter, Max Martin, being one of the co-authors of Swift’s Bad Blood track, which is widely believed to be about Perry. She explained,

“I can’t speak for him, but he didn’t know [who ‘Bad Blood’ was about],” she carries on,

“I’m not supposed to tell him what he can and can’t do. I’m very fair; I’m super-duper fair, and I’m not one of those people who’s like, ‘You can’t do that because I don’t like that person’. Just, like, you do you, make your own choices.”

Further, she disclosed, “I love Max,” Dark Horse artist added,

“I’ve been working with Max my whole career. I’m not his mother, and he was fine before I met him, you know what I’m saying? He’ll be fine continuing.”

She also discussed her beef with Swift, conspiracy theories, and the subject of fake news during the interview.
