The 32-year-old actress, Julia Fox uploaded a tour video of her New York apartment in which many social media users were puzzled as to why she is living in such a tiny space. While the confusion continued to linger on social media, the actress took to Tiktok and shared the real reason behind moving into that space.
On Monday, she unveiled that her reason for residing in the apartment was her 2-year-old son whom she shares with her ex-husband Peter Artemiev.
She shared that the apartment belongs to “Valentino,” adding,
“It’s like a sentimental thing. That’s kinda why I’m like, even though I could probably afford a bigger place — probably, because I am in New York after all — it’s about having that sense of normalcy for Valentino.”
She pointed out,
“I don’t want him to grow up and be, like, a f–king prick.”
Fox shared having an emotional attachment to the home as she said,
“This just happens to be the apartment that I took my son home from the hospital. So it’s his home.”
Adding that she grew up in the real world, she wants “my son to have the same.” She also addressed the claims of being a person worth “30 million dollars” stating she is not even close to that.
“I don’t need 30 million dollars; what does one person need 30 million dollars for? I’ve survived on a lot less and I’m doing just fine.”
It’s quite clear that the mother of one understands the importance of being courteous and humble, which is why she wants her kid to grow up to be a nice person. She is the complete opposite of Kim Kardashian, who leaves no chances to show off her wealth even if it means her kids would get too used to it.
