“I feel like a jabroni on set”: Amid Taylor Swift’s World Domination, Boyfriend Travis Kelce Struggles to Find his Footing in Newfound Acting Career
Travis Kelce has repeatedly mentioned that he needs to up his game if he’s ever going to match the standards set by his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The latter is on a world dominion stage where her concerts are selling out faster than she can finish singing one song.
Kelce is on a bit of a high himself as he recently won his third Super Bowl as part of the Kansas City Chiefs. The athlete is now taking a break to focus on other aspects of his life, including his relationship with Swift and the newest feather in his cap, an acting role in a new FX horror series.
Travis Kelce Feels like an Amateur on Set
When news broke that Ryan Murphy has cast Travis Kelce in a crucial role in his upcoming series, fans were supportive of the athlete crossing over to the acting side. With Taylor Swift by his side, it felt like he could achieve and do anything. Their relationship has blossomed well in the past few months, and the couple is stronger than ever.
Kelce could not believe that Murphy was willing to give him a chance in his project. While Kelce admitted it is a huge role in the FX show called Grotesquerie, he didn’t really reveal any other details pertaining to the show or his role.
Such subtleties are still being kept under wraps until everything is finalized. Speaking about the acting gig and Murphy as a director, he said on his New Heights Podcast’s latest episode,
It’s been so much fun. Ryan Murphy is [an] unbelievable writer, director, producer, all of the above, man. He’s just — there’s nothing he can’t do, and everybody’s just been so helpful in making me feel comfortable. Even on top of that, just giving me the direction I need and the coaching I need to portray this part that I’m in. I feel like an amateur. And I haven’t gotten fired yet so we’re doing good. They haven’t told me to f****** kick rocks after the first week, so it’s been awesome.
Elsewhere, while attending the Kelce Jam Music Festival, Kelce emphasized that the other actors and crew on set were making him feel very comfortable as he tried to navigate his way through this new career. Rest assured, Kelce is confident that with some help and the right direction, he will be able to make the most of this incredible opportunity and shine in Hollywood as brightly as he shines on the field.
