“I have a total crush on her”: Kristen Stewart Intimidated Amy Adams While Working Together

Oscar-winning actress Amy Adams revealed in an interview that while working on a film with Stewart, she was intimidated by her presence. Meanwhile, the Twilight actress claimed that she had a crush on Adams. The two actresses collaborated for the film On the Road.
Why was Amy Adams intimidated by Kristen Stewart?
Amy Adams and Kristen Stewart worked together on the film On the Road. Stewart has been working since a very young age. The Twilight fame actress was just 17 when she got her breakthrough role. While Stewart was filming the Walter Salles film, she was 20 years old. The fact that she was younger bothered her co-star, Amy Adams. Previously, during an interview with Variety, Adams revealed that she was cautious about working with younger co-stars. The 48-year-old actress said,
“I guess I’m getting to the point in my life where I’m suspicious of teenagers and I’m intimidated a little bit.”
The Underwater actress had just completed her teenage phase when she was filming the movie, but that certainly didn’t change Adams’s perspective. The Arrival actress continued by referring to Stewart,
“She’s not a teenager, but she’s close enough and I was very intimidated.”
But the fact that Stewart was younger than Adams didn’t bother the actresses, as they both admired each other. Adams said that she had noticed Stewart since the early period of her career and appreciates her acting skills. The actress said,
“She’s awesome. I knew she had chops. I’ve seen her since Panic Room. I thought she was fantastic. I feel like she’s grown up on the screen. She was great in Into the Wild. The girl’s got some chops.”
Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart claimed that she always admired Adams, but after working with her, she became an even bigger fan. Stewart said,
“I used to have a huge thing for Harrison Ford. And Amy Adams—man, she’s my favorite actress. I have a total crush on her because I got to work with her too – she’s awesome.”

The 33-year-old actress is all set for her upcoming film, Sacramento. Interestingly, the Spencer actress will be working in the film with her ex-boyfriend, Michael Angarano. Sacramento is a road trip comedy film that also features Maya Erskine and Michael Cera. The movie will commence its shooting this spring.
