“Whatever I do, I have to feel like I own it completely. I have to make it original to me: The initial seed of an idea may come from elsewhere, but it has to go through my fingers on a keyboard and come out through my eyes alone.”

Explaining what he’s going to consider for his next project which can be even more exciting than his recent film, considering Nolan’s creative mindset.

While talking about his experiences and important aspects while filming the biopic, the Interstellar creator shared what he felt when he saw the viewers witnessing his work on-screen:

“It was a remarkable experience to be there. Every seat was filled, and the focus on what was happening on-screen was so strong. That level of engagement was something that I’d never really felt before. Real attention was being paid.”

Christopher Nolan went limitless while filming his epic by utilizing an IMAX camera, including sections in IMAX black and white analog photography. The cinematic experience of this biopic felt like never-seen-before and Nolan did succeed in what he yearned for.
