Priscilla Presley Once Disclosed the Reason for Her Divorce
Elvis Presley’s widow, Priscilla Presley has remained committed to his legacy for decades, despite the fact that he wasn’t allegedly committed to her when he was alive. In fact, she even admitted that the You’re the Devil in Disguise singer’s habitual infidelity was the reason their marriage ended.
She said that at the time, despite being close as a couple and having welcomed one daughter, Priscilla Presley began to feel the effects of her husband’s infidelity. Additionally, it was said that after they had a baby, her ex-husband no longer desired to have s*x with her.
She admitted as much in an interview in 2018,
“He wasn’t faithful,” she said. “I tried to turn my back to that, but I just didn’t want to share him. As much as he wanted to be married and have a family, I don’t know if he was ever cut to be married. Because I don’t think he could ever be faithful to one woman.”
His dominance over Priscilla Presley’s life became tiresome to her. She was never allowed to leave his close-knit group of friends or go without makeup. Additionally, she eventually ran out of patience with his alleged ongoing cheating.

Priscilla Presley was only 14 when she first met Elvis Presley, who was 24 at the time. According to reports, Presley’s ex-wife first caught his attention when she was 14 years old. Allegedly, he was drawn to her because he reportedly believed he could “train” her to become the woman he wanted both inside and outside of his bedroom.
