The 28-year-old Harry Styles, who is a singer-actor by profession, addressed the spitgate rumors during one of the live performances in Madison Square Garden in New York on Wednesday night. He paused between his songs and made a statement regarding the alleged incident stating, “I just popped over to Venice to spit on Chris Pine, but fear not, we’re back!”

While addressing the rumors, he was laughing which simply means that he understands that the Internet making stories about some feud between the Don’t Worry Darling co-stars are nothing but some baseless speculations.
Chris Pine’s Rep Also Addressed The Alleged Infamous Incident
Harry Styles’s co-star Chris Pine, who was the alleged victim according to that video, had already clarified that the 28-year-old singer-actor “did not spit” on the actor. His representatives exclusively shared to PEOPLE, “This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation.”
Adding that the stars respect each other, the rep stated, “There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist.”
Don’t Worry Darling, Olivia Wilde‘s directed physiological thriller film, apart from Harry Styles and Chris Pine, star Florence Pugh, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, and Nick Kroll. The plot will portray Pugh and Styles as an idyllic couple living in an experimental community that is hiding sinister secrets while Pine will be playing the villain in this film.
The movie is set to release this September 23 in the United States.
