Model and television personality Amber Rose rose to fame after she starred in the music video for Young Jeezy’s single Put On. Her relationship with Kanye West garnered a lot of attention and eventually led her to some wonderful opportunities, including modeling for Louis Vuitton. The two of them split up in 2010, and she went on to marry Wiz Khalifa in 2013. Their marriage was short-lived as she filed for divorce in 2014.
The model started her OnlyFans in 2020 and remains one of the highest-paid creators on the platform. Amber Rose has been very vocal about her views, including the fact that she is no longer a feminist. The model recently touched upon her ex Kanye West’s recent behavior, especially with Bianca Censori.
Amber Rose claims her ex, Kanye West, has a ‘good side’
In a recent interview with Shannon Sharpe, model and television personality Amber Rose, who dated Kanye West from 2008 to 2010, shared that the rapper who ‘loves’ to dress up his girlfriend in the hyper-s**ualized style is not about fashion but simply to feed his ego. She said,
Kanye is for sure dressing her [Bianca Censori] like that. He did the same thing to Kim [Kardashian] and me. He wants other men to want his woman. He likes that men are drooling over her.
The model in conversation recalled her relationship with the rapper, stating that she would secretly raid his closet when he wasn’t home and wear baggy clothes. She admits that she hated dressing up the way she did, as it would make her feel very uncomfortable.
Rose shared that she used to cry and argue with West, telling him that she did not want to wear a specific outfit, but he would convince her to do so. Even though she has claimed that Kanye West bullied her when they were together, she shares that she does have compassion and concern for him in her heart, especially with his recent actions. She shared,
It’s hard for me because I do have a place in my heart for Kanye, where I know the good side of him. I’ve experienced the good side of him. I think that he has enablers around him that don’t care about him.
Amber Rose explained that she believes that when Kanye West surrounds himself with people who simply just feed the dark side of him, he is not living at his full potential. She noted that she can see that the rapper does not have anyone around who is maternal in a way that is going to sit down and love him.
Sharpe asked Rose if Kanye West’s mother, Donda West, passing away in 2007, changed him. The model shared with the host that she met Kanye West after his mother passed away, but recalled that her mother lost her mother at a very young age. Rose mentioned,
When I did get with Kanye, I knew how to take care of him because I had always taken care of my mom.
Rose then mentioned that Ye didn’t act the way he is acting now when they were together. She acknowledged that he did the MTV thing, but it’s the same as what he’s doing now.
She shared that she would sit him down, tell him to take a picture of his mother and speak to her. However, she added that when she feels that Ye does not have the right people loving him, it’s just a perspective from the outside.
Adidas sells the last of Kanye West’s Yeezy shoes
Kanye West’s deal with Adidas in 2013 was valued at over $1 billion, and their collaboration shoe, Yeezy, took the entire world by storm.
But then in 2022, after Ye’s anti-Semitic comments, Adidas decided to terminate their contract with the rapper. At the time, the company’s representative said (via Variety),
Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech. West’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect, and fairness.
Even after terminating the contract with West, Adidas saw a drop in their sales in North America just because they did not have a lot of Yeezy in stock. But now the company has shared,
There is not one Yeezy shoe left. It has all been sold, and that episode is behind us.
Forbes shared that West’s net worth of $1.5 billion was attributed to his partnership with Adidas.
Recently, after he tried to make a statement by dressing his wife up in a sheer dress at the Grammys 2025 red carpet and taking a spot in the Super Bowl ad only to promote t-shirts with a swastika on the website, West has been receiving a lot of backlash.
Bianca Censori has not commented on her outfit’s backlash as of now, but sources have shared with Page Six that she dresses up differently when West is not around.
