Steve Harvey is a big family guy. So when the news of his daughter Lori Harvey’s breakup with Michael B. Jordan came out, people assumed Harvey would not be on good terms with the Hollywood actor. At the time, the comedian even said he was team Lori. While that could not have changed, Harvey seems to have certainly changed his mind about Michael B. Jordan.

Steve Harvey seemingly has no qualms with his daughter’s ex-boyfriend Michael B. Jordan. Jordan dated Harvey’s daughter, model, and influencer Lori Harvey for almost two years.

The former couple were quite public with their relationship. From PDA via Instagram stories to red-carpet appearances, they did it all. After ruling the internet being the power couple they were, their relationship came to an end as they wanted different things in the future.

Speaking on the breakup, Harvey said the following on his morning radio show (via Page Six):

“Look, as long as everyone can walk away in peace, be friends … I ain’t heard nobody say they busted no windows or nothing. She’s my daughter. I love her. I support her.”

The TV personality also added that he was “Team Lori” through and through.

Harvey is known to be quite protective over his daughters. Having a feeling of indifference toward someone who hurt your child in whatever way is a parental instinct. The aforementioned remark by Harvey vaguely hints at the same thing. So it is quite surprising that he does not hold any grudges against the actor.

Much like his daughter, who is currently dating Damon Idris, Harvey also seems to have moved on from the breakup, as he was seen sharing a warm embrace with the Creed star earlier this week at the NBA games in Abu Dhabi.

Jordan was all smiles to see Harvey who wasn’t far from pleased himself. They shook hands and then went for a hug, which they held onto for some seconds, and exchanged some words before letting go. This heartwarming exchange came after almost a year of the break-up. Safe to say, Harvey has let go of any hard feelings that he might have for the actor.
