“I love my tattoo”: Ben Affleck’s Giant Phoenix Tattoo is “Awful” For Jennifer Lopez
Among Hollywood stars, Ben Affleck is one of those who love covering their skin with tattoos small or big. The Argo actor has for a very long time been getting his body inked with various statement symbols such as the most elaborative Phoenix which covered most of his back. And apart from that, he has several other smaller ones also. But all of it seemingly has an underlying deeper meaning that only Affleck knows well.
Despite this, not every one of the tattoos has been able to impress people around him. His wife Jennifer Lopez readily got one after their second marriage last year. however, she did not hold back from expressing her dislike toward the big Phoenix that Affleck has spread over his back.
Jennifer Lopez Is Seemingly Not Impressed With Ben Affleck’s Giant Phoenix Tattoo
In 2015, Ben Affleck added a giant Phoenix tattoo to his collection of ink works on his body. And the first time that the public got a glimpse of it was through a paparazzi snap however seemingly it was not received as nicely as the actor seemingly assumed. Moreover, even people close to him did not have many nice words to say about it.
His wife Jennifer Lopez straight up called the giant tattoo “awful”. While his former wife Jennifer Garner reacted with a “bless his heart” comment.
While appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2016, the topic was brought up by DeGeneres who jokingly described the tattoo as a “Phoenix rising from his A**”. Taking the joke in, Affleck explained that the Phoenix symbolized something “important” to him. However, despite the response, he seemed to love the work as he explained,
“It represents something very important to me. It’s meaningful to me. I love my tattoo. I’m very happy with it.”
Furthermore, there was also a claim regarding the tattoo calling it “fake”. But as it turns out it is as permanent as the other ink works on his body.

Along with his wife Jennifer Lopez, Affleck got another one with two arrows crossed accentuated by their initials. Lopez who is seemingly not much of a tattoo fan also got a similar tattoo with an infinity sign entwined with their names.
