When it comes to celebrities being honest, Mia Goth has always been frank with her thoughts. She didn’t even shy away from brutally pulling Robert Pattinson’s two iconic franchises.
While many of us desire to graduate from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry or transform into a pearl-like Vampire, Mia Goth revealed that she never understood Robert Pattinson’s Twilight or Harry Potter. What’s even more intriguing is that the actress took no time to disclose this while sitting next to Pattinson.
Mia Goth Never Understood Robert Pattinson’s Twilight and Harry Potter
This is going to be a bitter pill to swallow for all the Potterheads and Twihards as we’ve found someone who has never been excited about the two most iconic franchises of Robert Pattinson. During an interview alongside her High Life co-star, Mia Goth was asked if she’s ever been interested in Twilight or other iconic films, to which the Pearl actress said that she has never delved into Twilight or Harry Potter as they sounded quite confusing to her.
In an interview with Variety, Goth was sitting next to Pattinson when she said:
“Um, I wasn’t actually, but my friends were really into it. Like, my friends had Robert on their walls…I’ve never really… I don’t know, I just never really connected to those kinds of movies. I never really understood Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.”
Hearing Mia Goth’s response over liking his movies, he humorously mentions “Anything you’ve done, I just don’t get it.” Pattinson became a household name after he appeared as Edward Cullen in Twilight, and his portrayal of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The two stars have worked together in the science-fiction horror film High Life, following numerous criminals sent to space to extract substitute energy from a black hole.
Robert Pattinson Set For Next Sci-Fi Thriller Titled Mickey 17
Robert Pattinson’s upcoming sci-fiction thriller Mickey 17 is crafted by Academy Award-winning director Bong Joon-Ho, featuring the actor as the leading man. The film was set to be released on March 29, 2024, but due to a delay in production, Warner Bros. has pushed back Mickey 17 with currently no confirmed date.
The film is an adaptation of Edward Ashton’s 2022 novel, featuring the acclaimed actor as the 17th clone of an expendable human used for unskilled labor and dangerous tasks. The 30-second teaser on YouTube focuses on Pattinson’s character inside a chamber.
However, the delay in the film’s release date has upset fans and they have expressed their dissatisfaction via social media. The director Joon Ho has previously crafted the highest-grossing Korean movie Parasite, after which he’s set to engage fans with Mickey 17. While talking about the film in an interview with The Standard, Robert Pattinson praised the filmmaker for his exceptional work in his upcoming project.
