The Golden Globe Awards 2024 is taking all the attention, be it the winners, hosts, or iconic moments during the event. Previously, Mark Hamill talked about never meeting Natalie Portman and shared that he was surprised after finding out that Portman is Luke’s biological mother. He said,

“When I saw that Natalie Portman was my mother, I thought holy moly. A woman that beautiful has a kid that looks like this? I’m not buying it. I should look way more handsome.”

The actor’s comments went insanely viral, and still, the on-screen mother-son couldn’t reunite until Golden Globe Awards 2024.

In an interview with GQ, the May December star was asked if she’s coming back to the franchise, to which Portman said:

“I have no information on this. No one’s ever asked me to return, but I’m open to it.”

The actress has previously mentioned that it’s quite weird that she never met his on-screen son, even off-screen. That was the time when Natalie Portman, similarly to Hamill, mentioned her excitement of meeting the actor.
During her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbertthe host mentioned Hamill’s post on Portman’s birthday, which was captioned as “FUN FACT: I’ve never met this woman.” After which the Vox Lux star said:
