“I only did it because I was young”: Justin Timberlake Didn’t Regret Getting Naked While Co-Star Mila Kunis Attended Auditions to Choose Girls Matching Her Nude Backside
The co-stars of the 2011 film, Friends With Benefits, Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis, have shown during their movie promotional appearances that they get along really well.
When a major Hollywood film requires its two lead stars to spend a significant portion engaging in steamy scenes, they usually leave the stage in protest and request body doubles in their place. Timberlake and Kunis’ film Friends With Benefits explored what happens when two attractive but emotionally wrecked young professionals decide to start a casual, s*x-only relationship.
The movie was a hit, and Kunis received praise for her on-screen chemistry with an American singer-songwriter. But behind the scenes, things weren’t always perfect, as we’ll see in the paragraphs that follow.
Actually, the 39-year-old actress wasn’t favorable of the script at first and she even recognized that it needed a lot of work to improve.

Mila Kunis Requested Casting Her Body-Double
It’s not unusual to request a body double, especially for a scene that will be public. During her time working with Justin Timberlake on Friends with Benefits, Mila Kunis encountered a comparable circumstance.
According to the actress, a separate audition was organized to match her backside. Kunis claimed while speaking with Ryan Seacrest that the makers were looking for the backside body double that most resembled her own.
“These young ladies came in. They were in a casting room and I was there, the director and the casting director and my makeup artist were there. And these lovely women had to show us their derrieres and we chose the one that resembled my body the most without looking like it’s fake.”
However, not all of the intimate scenes required body doubles for the Black Swan actress. What, then, was the cause of her shyness?
She jokingly said, “I showed side-b*ob, and I figured I can’t just give away everything at once. I gotta let it all out in little pieces here and there.”
But, the revealing scenes didn’t bother Justin Timberlake in any way. In the film, the actors portrayed two friends who start a casual relationship that was exclusively s*xual.

Justin Timberlake was not as bothered to act in those scenes as his co-star. The actor-singer claimed in the same interview with Ryan Seacrest that he only accepted to perform those explicit scenes as he was young and that, unlike his co-star, he didn’t mind doing it.
“I only did it because I’m young now, and everything’s where it’s supposed to be. I figured this is the time, before gravity gets the best of me.”
Nevertheless, Mila Kunis enjoyed her time on the set, despite this small hiccup in the film. At first, she didn’t like the script because she thought it was outdated.
Even though the actress acknowledged that the first draft of the script she got was quite outdated, she knew it would still make for a fun movie, so she set up a meeting with Will Gluck. But eventually, after their discussion, Gluck, Timberlake, and Kunis discovered they “wanted the same thing for the movie.”
The rom-com itself received favorable reviews and made a sizable profit. Despite having a $35 million budget, the film made $149.5 million.
