Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been quite a renowned couple ever since they started opening up about their narratives of being in the British royal family. Since their royal wedding in 2018, they continued to work diligently as senior working royals until 2020 when they decided to step down and live independently. Now that they had made their relationship quite strained with the royals, they have been asked to vacate their UK home, Frogmore Cottage.
While this plot twist is making rounds on the Internet, The View co-host, Alyssa Farah Griffin took a subtle dig at King Charles III for his decision of evicting the duo from their house.
The View’s Alyssa Farah Griffin Criticized King Charles III for Booting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
The 33-year-old TV host, Alyssa Farah Griffin shared her thoughts on the recent royal drama happening around the Sussexes, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The couple is asked to leave their Frogmore Cottage. As per the reports, King Charles III decided to let the pair move from the premise.
Regarding the decision, the former called the current monarch of The United Kingdom, “petty and cringey.” She further stated how the Duke of Sussex’s memoir, Spare, might have an impact on the current scenario.
She continued,
“I just finished reading Spare and as somebody who’s been open, and probably more open than I should, that I have estrangements in my family, you can’t just do 300 pages of everything you were wronged by your family and then expect to peacefully live on the family property.”
Though she revealed she wants to like the royal prince due to his charitable work, his claims in the memoir are quite a bombshell that should have worked out in the therapy not declaring it publicly. Even her co-host, Joy Behar claimed that the King started the eviction process soon after the father of two released his bombshell memoir.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are Kicked Out of Their U.K. Residence, Frogmore Cottage
The duo was asked to vacate their U.K. Residence, Frogmore Cottage, confirmed their reps. The Sun reported that the King is planning to move his brother Prince Andrew, an estranged royal member who faced backlash after being involved with Jeffrey Epstein. This cottage used to be the couple’s former residence before they stepped down as the senior working royals and moved to California.
Even though they no longer stay in the U.K. they maintained to live in the cottage whenever they visited the country. Since the duo migrated to the U.S., the Duke’s cousin Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank were residing in the cottage. However, their bitter relations with the royals are reported to be the reason behind their eviction from the place.
