“I, Travis, take you, Khloé, to be my wife”: Las Vegas Marriage Officiant Asked Travis Barker to Marry Khloe Kardashian, Not Kourtney

Kourtney Kardashian and American musician Travis Barker tied the knot last year in May 2022. The couple initially got married unofficially last year, in April, in a drunken state and later got officially hitched a month later. As the couple celebrates their first anniversary, Hulu and Disney+ release footage of their intimate wedding ceremony. ‘Til Death Do Us Part Kourtney and Travis released a video on April 13, 2023, that featured their extravagant wedding.

In the wedding video, the couple is seen proclaiming their love for each other. Interestingly, their impersonator, Elvis Persley, got confused between the Kardashian sisters and addressed Kourtney K by her younger sister’s name, Khloe K. The whole scenario created a fuss at the wedding as Kourtney Kadarshian could not stop her laughter after Persley’s dialogue.

Why did Kourtney Kardashian lose her control?

Kourtney Kardashian married Travis Barker last year. Their special day was made even more memorable as their wedding officiant, Elvis Persley, mistakenly addressed the 43-year-old Kadarshian star by her younger sister’s name, Khloe Kardashian. Persley said,

“Travis, repeat after me, I, Travis, take you, Khloe, to be my wife.”

Following the statement, the elder Kadarshian sister couldn’t stop her laughter and claimed that she might cry laughing.

Despite the bride’s hysterical reaction, it seems like the officiant couldn’t take the hint about his mistake and repeated the same statement,

“I, Travis, take you, Khloe, to be my wife.”

The bride seemed to enjoy the moment a lot, as she just couldn’t control her laugh. Kourtney K. also insisted on calling her younger sister and sharing the hysterical incident with her. She said,

“Wait, we need to FaceTime Khloe; she’s literally gonna die.”

But as the ceremony was yet to be finished, the Poosh founder controlled her laughter and continued with the wedding ceremony.

What was the hassle in Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s marriage?

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are happily married today. As the fans know, the couple officially tied the knot on May 15, 2022. But this isn’t the first time the couple got hitched. A month before their official wedding day, the couple got married unofficially in a drunken state.

The couple faced many issues getting married, as their initial plan to marry was hindered when they discovered that the Italian church demanded some documents to commence the ceremony. The duo explained, “The church didn’t work out, especially since an Italian Catholic church is so strict and we needed really specific documents or we needed to do a one-year Catholic course.” 

Later, when the twosome decided to conduct the ceremony on designer Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s property, the hilly region created a problem in arranging supplies and decor. Finally, after surpassing all the hindrances, the couple got officially wed in a Santa Barbara courthouse.
