When the 51-year-old appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live before her marriage to Manganiello, she admitted that she was originally unsure about the Justice League actor. Speaking about her now-husband, the actress stated she hesitated to have a relationship with him as there was constant female competition.
The Modern Family fame told Kimmel that she thought her then-fiancé was too attractive and that it was one of the reasons she was afraid to start a relationship. She confessed that seeing women constantly throwing themselves at him made her doubtful. The Colombian diva said,
“I didn’t want to go into a relationship with somebody that … I thought he was going to be too much work, because girls were throwing themselves at him. I’m like, ‘Ay! No! Please, I want somebody normal.”
Vergara stated that the actor, who was crowned People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2015, was very attractive. She did not blame the girls for appreciating Manganiello’s incomparable looks. She said, “Girls don’t care. I mean, have you seen him? I mean, I understand. I don’t judge them.”
Despite all the hesitation, Sofia Vergara ended up getting married to the Justice League star in 2015 at the Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

When Sofa Vergara and Joe Manganiello began dating in 2014, they instantly caught the eye of the media. After less than a year of dating, the couple got engaged. The rumors swirled on social media when Manganiello posted a cold birthday message to his wife. Vergara recently celebrated her 51st birthday. The DC star was absent for his wife’s birthday adding fuel to the rumors.
The Deathstroke actor’s Instagram post also hinted at something between the two. He posted a throwback picture with the Modern Family star and wrote, “Happy Birthday, Sofia.” in Spanish.
The fans speculated something between the couple from the cold wish. They were shocked to see the actress ditched her $500,000 wedding ring during the lavish birthday trip. However, there is still no confirmation about the split as fans are scared to witness another big celebrity separation.
