“I was a nightmare for everyone around me”: Jennifer Garner Makes a Confession About Ben Affleck and Their Children
Jennifer Garner has been entertaining us for over two decades in Hollywood. The actor became well-known in the entertainment industry with the ABC series Alias, which went on from 2001 to 2006. She even received a Golden Globe for Best Actress – Television Series, Drama for her role of Sydney Bristow in Alias. She met her ex-husband Ben Affleck on the set of a superhero movie named Daredevil, where she played the role of Elektra. They got married in 2005. The Pearl Harbor co-stars legally separated in 2018, ending their decade-long union. The ex-couple are now co-parenting their three children- daughters Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and son Samuel, 11.

The Valentine’s Day actor Jennifer Garner has always been known as someone who has never shied away from speaking her mind in front of the media. During the cover story of Allure, the 51-year-old actor opened up on the struggles of being a mother for the first time. Jennifer Garner shared little details about her motherhood journey. She revealed-
“I was such a first-time mom,” she said. “My eldest daughter didn’t have a shot. She couldn’t have a free thought—I was all over her. I was a nightmare for everyone around me.”
While talking about how quickly kids end up growing, she mentioned-
“Your kids will really figure out who they are and what they are when they’re older, and most likely they will hew toward lovely. I have a lot of faith in my kids. I don’t love every behavior all the time, always. It’s gnarly growing up. We didn’t have the eyes on us that our kids have.”
Like every other woman, Jennifer Garner knew she had always wanted to be a mother. She said-
“Being a mother was one thing I knew I was going to be,” she proclaimed. I really could have been a mother in any way. I could have adopted, I could have fostered, but there was no doubt I was going to be a mom. I mean, I was the kid with the doll everywhere I went.”
She made a comeback on television, with the Apple TV+ series The Last Thing He Told Me, based on the novel of the same name by author Laura Dave.
Jennifer Garner’s Kids Do Not Like To Watch Her Movies
Jennifer Garner has been a support system for her kids ever since she separated from her ex-husband, Argo star, Ben Affleck. While speaking with Allure, the actor revealed that her children never watch her movies or shows, but they like watching their father’s work. She said-
“They don’t mind watching their dad, but they kind of want me to be their mom. They don’t want to see me upset and women cry more in what we do. And they don’t really want to see me in a romantic thing.”

The Peppermint actor mentioned that maybe her kids do not like to see her getting romantically involved with someone on screen. On being asked about her views on the ill effects of social media on kids nowadays, Jennifer Garner said-
“I just said to my kids, ‘Tell me, show me the articles that prove that social media is good for teenagers, and then we’ll have the conversation. Find scientific evidence that matches what I have that says that it’s not good for teenagers, then we’ll chat.”
The actor has been everything to her three kids after she divorced her ex-husband, Ben Affleck. As the Armageddon actor moved on with Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Garner is currently dating John Miller.
