Henry Cavill made his debut as an actor in Hollywood with the 2001 fim Lagoon, and has since been steadily gaining more and more attention for his diverse work on a variety of projects. His breakthrough role came in 2007 when he starred as Charles Brandon, the first Duke of Suffolk in Showtime’s TV series The Tudors, which was aired from 2007 to 2010.
Henry Cavill’s portrayal of the DC superhero Superman in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel helped him gain international recognition. Amy Adams Apologized to Henry Cavill for Her Behavior
Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel was followed by the sequel Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. In both of these movies, there were intimate scenes between Henery Cavill’s Superman and Amy Adams’ Lois Lane. Now, it is no secret that The Witcher star has a great physique. However, this great physique of his has proved to be rather difficult to be around for Adams who had trouble taking her eyes off him on several occasions.
In an interview with Marie Claire UK in 2016, the American Hustle actress admitted to have objectified her co-star. She said:
“In between shots it was like, ‘Put on a robe please, and make everyone feel less bad about themselves!’ I objectified poor Henry. I had to apologi[z]e to him at one point. I promise I’m not that pervy. He’s just so good to look at.”

As it turns out, this was not the only time Amy Adams had to apologise to the Justic League actor as she recounted to Australia’s The Project (via Daily Mail) how she shocked herself with her own reaction to a shirtless Cavill, saying:
“I’m just sitting there and he looks like that and I kissed his belly. It was the weirdest [thing] – why would I take that choice in that moment? I was mortified, I was like ‘Henry I’m so sorry.'”
The two actors have been nothing but appreciative of each other and even developed a friendship while working together so the Enola Holmes star did not seem to take offense at Adams’ behaviour.
