“I will try to kick her a-s but she will kill me”: Sandra Bullock Reveals Her Legendary Feud With Meryl Streep After Humiliating Her at the Oscars
Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep’s catfight is still brewing, and their playful antagonistic relationship is giving us some major friendship goals. The Battle of the Oscar Winners converted into a passionate on-stage kiss in the same year. The tongue-in-cheek feud between Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep stands apart from many other infamous Hollywood feuds.

Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep’s awesome friendship is now even more awesome. Their friendly banter dates back to the 2010 awards season when Bullock and Streep were both nominated for Best Actress. It is from this point that two of Hollywood’s brightest actresses engaged in a war of words over who’s going to win the award.
In one of her interviews, Bullock shared the course of events saying, “I left her a voicemail going, ‘You’ve got to watch your back. I’m gonna cut you. I’m gonna take you down. And then she sent me dead orchids and told me to die. So I sent her a case of liquor and told her to toast to white trash.”
Bullock told Graham Norton, “And up comes this nice bottom part [motions in the shape of a flower pot] with, like, three dead orchids on it,” Beside the dead orchids was a note that read, “Die, bitch. Love, Meryl”. But instead of being bugged down, Bullock decided to get one over on Streep.
In the same year, Bullock and Streep joint-presented an award for the Critic’s Choice Awards that season. While onstage, Bullock pretended to be annoyed at being paired with Streep and then leaned in to give Streep a kiss. When Norton asked her about the lip lock, Bullock clearly stated that she has no regrets.

If frenemies Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep ever got into a fight, Meryl Streep would be the blind bet, and why not? Gravity actress, Sandra Bullock herself admitted that she is most likely to lose. Bullock told The Shortlist, “If Meryl and I get in a ring, she’ll kick my a-s. People don’t realize that there’s a side of Meryl that’s just mean. You walk away and she’ll just rip your dress…I know not to turn my back on her.”
Bullock also confessed, “I will try to kick her ass but she will kill me. That’s just how it’s gonna end and then she’ll be lovely Meryl again and I’ll just be dead.” Seeing The Devil Wears Prada, no one can disagree with Bullock. She then added, “We will have a nice sparring I hope until the day we die, I love nothing more than hanging out with that woman and having a glass of wine.”
Well, there is nothing to worry about for the fans as all of it is a part of the duo’s long-established faux public feud which is still going strong. This is just more proof that Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep have the best friendship.
