“I would say…”: Black Panther Star Who Was Among the First People Joseph Quinn Called After Bagging Fantastic Four Gave Him Some Incredibly Smart Advice
English actor Joseph Quinn recently grabbed the opportunity to enter the MCU with the role of Johnny Storm in Fantastic Four, and Lupita Nyong’o, who has starred in Black Panther, offered some really incredible advice to him before he was set to join the MCU.
Quinn has earned a lot of recognition after playing the role of Eddie Munson in the fourth installment of the Netflix series, Stranger Things. An interesting thing to note is that Quinn called the 41-year-old Kenyan-Mexican actress, who was his co-star in A Quiet Place: Day One, to ask for some advice.
Black Panther Star Had Some Words Of Wisdom For Her Co-star
Nyong’o has worked in many wonderful movies like Black Panther, The Woman King, and The Jungle Book. Other than being an amazing actress, she seems to be one gem of a friend too. Her A Quiet Place: Day One co-star, Joseph Quinn, called her to ask her opinion over a career-changing role he was offered, and she presented him with the best advice he could have ever got.
While speaking to GamesRadar+ and the Inside Total Film podcast, Quinn revealed that before he confirmed his participation in MCU’s 2025 release, he called Nyong’o to ask her for advice. During the interview, the actress said she could not remember what she said, but Quinn sure did (via gamesradar+). The advice Nyong’o gave was:
I would say, get a scented candle. For your trailer.
Quinn said that Nyong’o told him to do it. When the latter asked if he was going to do it before she told him he should, he said:
Of course, I was always gonna do it. It’s good to get little words of wisdom from you.
This incident serves as a reminder that the A Quiet Place: Day One actors are on really good terms not just at a professional level, but also at a personal level. Not to mention that it is incredibly cool that they both are parts of the MCU now.
A Quiet Place: Day One Is All Set to Hit the Theaters
Joseph Quinn and Lupita Nyong’o will be seen in action in A Quiet Place: Day One, directed by Michael Sarnoski and produced by Platinum Dunes and Sunday Night Productions.
The film is set in New York City where aliens have attacked, resulting in utter chaos. The concept of the movie asks the people to be completely silent while running for their lives as the aliens are drawn to even the slightest noise.
The movie is a prequel to the first movie of the series and is produced with a budget of $67 million. Apart from Nyong’o and Quinn, the movie also features Alex Wolff, Djimon Hounsou, and Jennifer Woodward among others.
A Quiet Place: Day One will be in theatres on June 27, 2024.
