The rapper recently appeared on Drink Champs and talked about a variety of topics and people, including his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. During the three-and-a-half-hour interview, Ye also mentioned Ice Cube, much to the rapper’s displeasure, and credited him for putting him on his current vibe right now.
What did Kanye West say in the interview?
The interview was full of controversial statements and remarks made by Kanye West. This came shortly after the rapper had his Instagram account disabled for anti-semitic remarks. The Donda rapper didn’t shy away from name-dropping celebrities and taking shots at his now ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

During the podcast, Ye referred to Ice Cube multiple times, claiming that he had influenced him to get on the anti-Semite vibe. “You know, Cube’s really set me up for this. Cube really influenced me to get on this antisemite vibe,” the rapper said in the interview with N.O.R.E. He also spoke against the Black Lives Matter movement and the murder of George Floyd. He called the movement a scam, while also making false claims surrounding the murder of George Floyd.
How did Ice Cube Respond
Ice Cube didn’t respond too kindly to West’s claims and commentary on the podcast. Cube hit back on Twitter and denied having any idea of what Kanye said.

However, people are having mixed reactions to believing the rapper due to the controversy that surrounded him in 2020. He was accused of spreading anti-Semitic propaganda on social media with several posts and didn’t back down or apologize. Ice Cube also said to the rapper to leave him out of any other anti-semitic comments in the future.
