Sharon Stone became the talk of the town with the seductive portrayal of her character in Basic Instinct. The actor made headlines and was criticized too. She has also worked alongside Sylvester Stallone in the action thriller The Specialist released in 1994. The project included an intimate scene where they had to take a shower together.
The actor duo had an argument as Sharon Stone was simply not ready to execute the scene. After being convinced by Sylvester Stallone, she agreed to do the scene. During an interview with Ain’t It Cool News, the Expendables actor spoke about being drunk to perform the scene. He said-
She said, ‘I’m just sick of nudity’. I asked her if she could get sick of it on someone else’s film. She was having none of it, so I went down to my trailer, brought back a bottle of Black Death vodka that was given to me by Michael Douglas and after half-a-dozen shots we were wet and wild.”
Sylvester Stallone and Sharon Stone were drunk in order to perform the scene. However, Black Death Vodka’s help was taken by both the actors for the much-hyped scene of The Specialist.
Sylvester Stallone Almost Ruined His Marriage Due To An Intimate Scene With Sharon Stone In The Specialist
During an interview with Ain’t It Cool News in 2006, Sylvester Stallone openly spoke about the much-hyped intimate scene with his co-star Sharon Stone in the action Thriller movie The Specialist. He said-
“OK. Let it be known, I didn’t want to do this scene because Sharon was not cooperating. We get to the set and she decides not to take her robe off. The director asks only a few of the crew to remain, and she still won’t take it off,”
It was not only Sharon Stone who had a problem with the intimate scene. During an interview with the Irish Examiner in 2006, Sylvester Stallone spoke about his wife Jennifer Falvin’s reaction to the steamy scenes from The Specialist. He even confessed that it was the last time he was seen doing an intimate scene with an actor. He said-
The Luis Llosa-directed action thriller went on to make $170.4 million against a budget of 45 million.
