“I’m looking for something with us”: Tom Cruise Is Desperate to Work with One Former Avengers Star after Mission Impossible 7

Tom Cruise, is the man behind action thriller movies as well as the man who is known for the thrilling real-life stunts he performed while shooting for his famous Mission Impossible franchise. 

Not only in Mission Impossible movies but in fact the star has also appeared in various other movies like Top Gun: Maverick, Jack Reacher, Mummy, and American Made.

Cruise recently was seen sharing about his eagerness to make a movie with the Avengers star, Scarlett Johansson where he mentioned how much he liked the star’s talent. 

Tom Cruise Eager to Team Up with Scarlett Johansson for New Movie!

Tom Cruise is known for his stunts whereas Scarlett Johansson is more known for her immense fight scenes and an emotional end in Avengers: Endgame.

After Endgame, the star did appear in other movies including Black Widow and also for her latest Asteroid City. 

When the star was out for the premiere of Asteroid City, a reporter from The Hollywood Reporter (THR) asked her interesting about with which Hollywood star she would like to work for the next movie, and without any hesitation or so, Asteroid City star said, 

“I’d love to work with Tom Cruise,” with a smile. 

This left fans amused and even thinking about the fact that the duo star could make a great fit to appear in a new movie. 

However, Johansson’s wish didn’t stop with her sharing to the media but it soon reached the Cruise’s ears too.

When he attended an interview for Rome premiering for the Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One movie, he was asked about how he felt about when the Jojo Rabbit star shared her enthusiasm to work with the Mummy star. Cruise made a big smile and said,

“She is enormously talented, so charismatic, versatile, has a great physical ability obviously, that’s what I’m looking for something with us”

The Knight and Day star shared about how much he loves and adores Johansson’s work and that’s something he wanted for his movies too.

Well, that’s an interesting question that will pop into all of our heads right after looking at each other’s enthusiasm to work together on a new movie project.

And, if we look at the current timeline, Cruise is currently working on the next part of his Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning movies. 

Not only fans but the interviewer also asked Cruise if there is any possibility for Johansson to appear in the second movie.

For which the star didn’t comment on it. But, if the crew is already confirmed there is very less chance to see Johansson for the movie. However, we can keep our hopes high to see them together in any movie in the future.

Scarlett Johansson’s Future Movie Timeline

There is not much anticipation for Cruise’s next movie. However, we do have updates on Johansson’s future movies after the release of Asteroid City. 

Starting with The Jungle Book 2 movie where it’s been said that Disney will be remaking its existing The Jungle Book movie from 2016. Johansson is expected to make her return to voice for the character named Kaa.

In the next movie, Bride where Johansson is expected to get the lead part. The movie will be adapted from The Bride of The Bride of Frankenstein, a horror sci-fi movie from the 90s.
