In a recent episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, Scarlett Johansson revealed that the process of filming the verbal s-x scene in Her was gross. Scarlett Johansson played an artificially intelligent assistant named Samantha in Her. Johansson’s character dated its owner and had an intense verbal s-x scene in the film. She shared that her orgasm recordings for the movie Her resulted in Joaquin Phoenix fleeing the set.
Johansson recalled, “We tried to get through one take, and he was, like, losing it. He left the studio. He needed a break.” She then added,
“You don’t want to hear your voice ever. You definitely don’t want to hear what you sound like having an orgasm. You definitely don’t want to hear what you sound like having a fake orgasm — ew. It’s so gross. It was so bizarre.”
The cringe-worthy session was worth the embarrassment for the two stars.

The Black Widow actress appeared on one of the episodes of The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast to discuss her life and career and opened up about why she doesn’t use social media. She even shared that she had Instagram once for three days as an experiment, but quickly deleted the app after investigating the life of a total stranger.
Revealing the real reason why she avoids using social media, the Asteroid City star said,
“I honestly am too fragile of a person to have social media. My ego is too fragile. I can’t deal with it. My brain is too fragile, I’m like a delicate flower. I have enough anxiety.”
Johansson added that she uses social media tools when at work to oversee operations for her skincare brand The Outset, particularly TikTok.
