In a candid interview this week, the Skeleton Key actress discusses her previous marriage. The well-known rom-com star had a conversation with Erin and Sara Foster on their podcast, You’re Doing Fine… Just Keep Going. They talked about how their friendship has developed, its manifestation, the human propensity for negativity, and other topics. The podcast’s hosts were also excited to welcome her because their followers frequently ask them to invite the talented actress to learn about some juicy details.
While Hudson recalls that her decision to marry Robinson may have surprised her friends and family, she made it crystal clear to her family that she was deeply in love with him at the time and went on to marry him without having second thoughts.
She said, “I just like to jump into the deep end of anything I do. People assumed it was impulsive, but it was really just me saying, You know what? I’m going to dive right in. I won’t question it again. He and I are in love.” She continued,
“I’m not going to act as though we should wait. I just didn’t stop to think since I’m so in love with him and I want to marry him. I kind of still think that way, except with a little more wisdom under my belt.”
The ex-couple, who welcomed son Ryder in 2004, later divorced in August 2006, with the actress confessing that their romance got complicated.

For those who are unfamiliar, After a brief relationship, Kate Hudson married Chris Robinson when she was just 21 years old. When questioned about her age when she first met her ex-husband Robinson, she said that she was just 20 years old and that she immediately fell in love with him.
The Fool’s Gold actress said her ex made her feel what it was like to experience unconditional love. Even though their relationship eventually became problematic, she admitted that being with him at the time was the most significant moment of her life. She said,
“We used to worship each other, and we were so much in love at the time.”
In August 2006, Chris Robinson and Kate Hudson announced their separation amid accusations that the actress was having an affair with her You, Me, and Dupree co-star Owen Wilson. Robinson and Hudson wed in New York City on New Year’s Eve in the year 2000.
