Brown previously posted an old picture with Tom Brady’s wife, Gisele Bündchen, amid the complications in their marriage. The NFL legend and his wife Gisele Bundchen finalized their divorce after 13 years of marriage this week. With everything going on in their life, Antonio Brown’s Instagram post felt like a personal attack on his former teammate. Brown explained that it was not a personal attack.
Antonio Brown addressed his beef with Tom Brady
Antonio Brown appeared in an interview with Patrick Bet-David recently and revealed that he doesn’t have a feud with his former teammate and shut down rumors about him dating his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen. He said,
“You’re trying to make me rationalize to tell you what is going on. What do you mean? I’m not smashing this girl. I don’t know his number. It was a T-shirt that raised money from the real moment that happened. Cause they going through a divorce. People go through stuff every day, man. But what about me when I’m on the news for I’m crazy. Something happened over this, over a T-shirt.”
He clarified that it was not personal and he is not dating the model. A lot of fans thought that he is trying to imply that he is dating the model with the Instagram post.
Antonio Brown talked about the NFL legend’s divorce
The NFL player went on to talk about his former teammates scarring divorce. He said,
“He’s [Brady] got a scar that’s massive. It’s this big and it’s his wife, and you put salt all over it. That’s a woman he’s got kids with. That’s going to hurt if they didn’t put my kids, my mother, and my kids out, too. Everyone.”
The two played together as teammates when they were in the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Antonio Brown walked out of the field during Week 17 of the 2020-2021 season and was then removed from the team. Tom Brady, at the time, vouched for him to help land him contracts with the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It was revealed this week that Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have officially finalized their divorce. The quarterback released an official statement saying,
“In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way.”
The two got married in 2009 and share 3 kids, Benjamin, 12, daughter Vivian, 9, and son Jack, 15. Tom Brady’s wife was reportedly upset after he announced that he is returning to the sport earlier this year after retiring as the point of the retirement was to focus on their family.
