‘I’m quite worried’: Johnny Depp Fears His Daughter Might Spiral Down Into Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Like Him

After winning the defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard, he is still in the process of reviving the fame and reputation he used to have earlier. His career took a major fall after her ex-wife Amber Heard posted an Op-ed in the Washington Post claiming of being a victim of domestic abuse.
The actor has always loved his children and has affection for them too. According to him, his first-born daughter, Lily-Rose, played an important role in helping her father grow as a person.

Lily-Rose Depp is a fashion model and actor, who began her acting career with a small role in 2014’s Tusk. The Pirates of the Caribbean star shared his thoughts on Lily-Rose’s acting career, “To be honest, I’m quite worried,” he told Gala. “I wasn’t expecting all this to happen to Lily-Rose, especially not at this age. But it’s her passion and she’s having fun.”
Lily-Rose, shared with Buro, how she was not into acting like her father, “Even though I would often go on film sets when I was growing up, I was more curious about things like how they did the make-up and the way a film crew works.”
The Actor Shared How His Family Makes Him Happy
The actor had a past with substance abuse issues and has been very outspoken about his alcoholism. He eventually ended this due to the effects that happened to his body. He even shared this with DailyMail, “I quit drinking spirits because I couldn’t stop, I would just keep going until a black screen came down, where you can’t see anything anymore. Trying to numb and medicate myself was never about recreation, it was existing without living. Now I have a solid foundation to stand on.”
He even shared how his children helped him and gave him life. His daughter is the foundation he needed whom he shared with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Paradis. “She helped give our daughter life and I feel she gave me life,” he said. “Suddenly, you meet your reason for living, you meet the future. It was like being born in a way. I was born that day.”
He even shared that his family brings him happiness by sharing his sweet moments with his son, Jack Depp, whom he shared with Vanessa Paradis. “They make me happy. Simple and fun stuff, my son and I drive around in mini cars or make silly stories about Barbies obsessed with peanut butter.”
Even though, Johnny Depp worries about her daughter but he’s always “very supportive,” and has always encouraged her to decide her own choice.
