“I’m sure he’s quite meme-worthy”: Jennifer Garner Joins Jennifer Lopez in Making Fun of Ben Affleck’s Viral Resting Sad Face Picture Despite Claiming She Doesn’t Like Memes on Ex-Husband
Despite their eight-year separation, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are still close friends and, of course, wonderful co-parents to their three kids. The ex-couple have since moved on with their respective new relationships. Garner is now with John Miller, and Affleck is now married to Jennifer Lopez. Thus, the former couple appears to get along well.
The Way Back actor is receiving a lot of media attention these days due to his new film Air, his marriage, and his Dunkin’ Donuts commercial. When his ex-wife was asked about this, she explained why she doesn’t like how much attention their family receives.
In this week’s issue of Stellar Magazine, Garner admitted that she makes an effort to avoid reading any articles about herself or her ex-husband. The ex-couple, who shares three children while they were married from 2005 to 2018, has remained friends, but the 50-year-old actress would rather not follow their lives online.
The mother of three has also been seen mocking her ex-husband by stating that “he’s quite meme-worthy.”
Jennifer Garner Makes Fun of Ben Affleck
It is obvious that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are friends, even though they hardly ever speak about each other in public. In this instance, the 13 Going on 30 actresses was questioned regarding the ongoing focus on her ex-husband, his wife, and herself.
To this, she mentioned how the writer/star of Good Will Hunting always seems to be the subject of popular memes.
While it is understandable that Garner does not enjoy the attention, the actress did make a light-hearted jab about Affleck’s meme-ability in the most recent issue of Stellar Magazine. “I just try to forget that I’m out there in any way and the same with anyone I love. I don’t need to see anyone in my family made into a meme.”
When asked if she had seen any memes about her ex-husband, the 50-year-old laughed and said, “Although I’m sure he’s quite meme-worthy, yes!”
Even though Affleck has frequently been made fun of in memes, he has recently been honest about it, particularly about the Grammys. He and Jennifer Lopez were discussing how he was being made into a meme when a seat attendant overheard them. They immediately realized that The Town actor’s image would probably go viral.
She ‘Works Really Hard’ To Avoid Reading Press Articles About Her And Her Ex-Husband
Jennifer Garner continued by stating that she makes a conscious effort to avoid reading any news articles about herself or her ex-husband, Ben Affleck. While they co-parent their three children and remain friends, the former couple does not want their private lives to be publicized online.
The star of 13 Going on 30 says, “I really work hard not to see either of us in the press.”
Affleck and Garner appear to be content with their lives as they are and to be doing a good job of integrating their families. Both actors are co-parenting and have significant projects coming out this year. With the recently released film Air (released on April 5), Affleck made a comeback as a director. Also, he and Matt Damon launched their brand-new production company, Artist’s Equity.
On the other hand, Garner’s new TV program, The Last Thing He Told Me, will release on April 14 with an Apple TV+ subscription.
Thus, despite the fact that Garner and Affleck live very private lives and, understandably, don’t like all the media attention, you can still catch them on screen in a variety of fresh and intriguing projects.
