American actor Sam Rockwell would be seen in Henry Cavill’s most anticipated project Argylle, which is currently running in theatres around the world. The 55-year-old actor has been a part of multiple projects like Jojo Rabbit, The Green Mile, Mr. Right, and Iron Man 2. He has also won the Academy Award in the Best Supporting Actor category for his outstanding performance in the crime drama Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Sam Rockwell On Reprising The Character Of Justin Hammer In the Armor Wars

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Sam Rockwell spoke about Argylle, and Henry Cavill and even spoke about reprising the character of the famous weapon manufacturer Justin Hammer. On being asked if be seen in the upcoming MCU project Armor Wars, Rockwell spoke about the possibility and mentioned-

“Really? [There’s a rumor?] Well, I’m waiting for the phone call. I’m growing the beard and everything. It’s been a while [since Iron Man 2]. I’m in, dude.”

According to the original Armor Wars storyline, Justin Hammer hires the Spymaster in order to steal armor from Robert Downey Jr. led by Tony Stark. He provides armor and suits to the villains, which leads to chaos in Tony Stark’s life. According to the media outlet Screenrant, there is a strong possibility of Sam Rockwell reprising the character of Justin Hammer in Armor Wars as the plot of the project will revolve around James Rhodes’ and his struggle to restrict the villains from stealing Tony Stark’s armor.

Sam Rockwell was last seen as Justin Hammer in Iron Man 2, released in 2010. Fans speculate that the character of Hammer could be back in the upcoming Armor Wars as after the death of Iron Man, there is a strong possibility that he might take over his remaining gadgets and armor.

Henry Cavill Talks Filming The Fight Scenes With Argylle Co-star Sam Rockwell

After Mission Impossible- Fallout and The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Henry Cavill has worn the spy hat again. The British actor would be playing the character of Agent Argylle in the Matthew Vaughn-directed project Argylle. During the promotion of Argylle, Henry Cavill appeared for an interview with the famous media outlet Entertainment Weekly. 

While talking about filming a fight sequence with Sam Rockwell, Cavill said-

“Sam and I were watching each other and just trying to make sure that we had a similarity of movements. Certain movements worked better for him, so I would mimic those, and then different movements in other places worked better for me, so he would copy those. Fight scenes are tricky and complex, especially in a cramped space like that with lots of hard edges.”

He further shared-

“It’s quite nice doing these things when you have someone doing the exact same work as you. So I do my bit, or Sam does his thing, and the other one gets to rest. The camera moves on, and we get to have a nice break. It was definitely a new way of doing things, but I enjoyed it. It was a good challenge.” 

Agent Argylle is a fictional character created by author Elly Conway played by actor Bryce Dallas Howard. Conway, a reputed spy series author, lands into a mess when actual spies start targeting her for the hidden information in her books. While she imagines Agent Argylle is protecting her, in reality, it is Agent Aiden played by actor Sam Rockwell.

Argylle is currently running in the theatres.
