In a new moving video, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gives away his own custom vehicle to a Navy veteran. Red Notice, the action comedy picture starring the 49-year-old wrestler turned movie star, was recently released. In the Netflix original film, Ryan Reynolds plays an FBI agent who unwillingly pairs up with famed art thief Nolan Booth in the Netflix original film. The film had a limited theatrical release on November 5 before being released digitally on November 12 on the streaming platform. In advance of his new film, Johnson invited fans to a special showing of “Red Notice” in cinemas. Johnson and his staff provided complimentary snacks to the audience during the show, including the actor’s own Salt & Straw ice cream. Johnson shocked fans by appearing on stage before the screening in a Cinemark cinema outside of Los Angeles. Johnson wasn’t simply handing away free ice cream bars to supporters; he wanted to do “something BIG… something MASSIVE.”
Johnson posted a heartfelt Instagram video in which he presented a Navy veteran with his own bespoke vehicle:
Following the screening, Johnson shared a touching Instagram video in which he gifted a Navy veteran his personal custom vehicle. Johnson, who appears in front of a packed auditorium, summons Navy veteran Oscar Rodriguez to the front. Johnson leads the veteran outside the cinema and presents him with a card, inspired by Rodriguez’s personal tale. Rodriguez is thanked for his service on the card, which also discloses that Johnson is gifting him the personalized vehicle. The video has already received over three million views in less than 24 hours after it was released. Below is the complete footage of Johnson’s touching interaction with Rodriguez:

Johnson also says in his Instagram post that he had intended to give away the Porsche Taycan that he drives in Red Notice:
In addition, Johnson also says in his Instagram post that he had intended to give away the Porsche Taycan that he drives in Red Notice. However, when he approached Porsche with his concept, the carmaker rejected it. But Johnson was still determined to do “something unique for one fan,” so he chose to give away his personalized vehicle, which he affectionately refers to as “his baby.” Johnson picked Rodriguez because of the veteran’s tale after obtaining as much information as he could on the audience members. Aside from being a vet, Rodriguez is a personal trainer, a church leader, offers assistance and meals for domestic abuse survivors, and looks after his 75-year-old mother. Johnson describes Rodriguez as a “proud and modest Navy veteran” who is also a “lovely human being.” It’s easy to see why Johnson picked Rodriguez for the award, given the amount of positive he has spread in his neighbourhood. The video is not only touching, but also encouraging. Johnson summed up his experience by describing it as “simply love.” The actor, who is no stranger to comedy, then quips about having to figure out how he’ll go home now that he’s given away his transport. Dwayne Johnson’s generous gift is a true testament to his “People’s Champ” reputation, and it just adds to his already amazing Instagram postings.
