The high-profile defamation case made the world go head over heels and opened up a whole new narrative that men can be victims too. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been in the news for quite some time now and that doesn’t seem like something that will be going away anytime soon.
According to sources, just as Amber Heard has filed an appeal against the final verdict of the case. Which was largely in Depp’s favor. The star has also filed an appeal to overturn any favors that were given to her.

The Defamation Case and its Verdict
The Pirates of the Caribbean star has filed a defamation case against her ex-wife Amber Heard. The actor claimed that her false acquisitions of him made him lose all his work and good reputation. The case lasted for almost a month and gained comments and statements from all over the world. When the day of the judgment came, the decision was largely in favor of Johnny Depp as he awarded $10.35 million and Amber was compensated with $2 million for her counter-claim.

Johnny Depp moves to court again to Quash the fine for her counter-claim.
Amber Heard shared her thoughts about the unfairness of the court’s decision. It is also well known to everyone that she does not have enough money to pay the fines. Therefore, she has officially filed an appeal for the verdict. Her lawyers said that there were errors made in court. This means a re-trial is inevitable.

However, sources say, Depp has also decided to bounce back and try to nullify the $2 million that was awarded to Amber Heard. The jury handed her this as her lawyers had claimed that Depp’s lawyer had made false and reputation-harming statements about her.
The famous trial had everyone on the edge of their seats last month. And that was not the end of it as the ex-couple moved to court again.
