Iron Man Similarity Caused War Machine Scene Cut
The buzz of Avengers: Infinity War seems to have no end. There always seems to be one thing or the other that would keep the fans engaged. And recently the concept art had released a look of another cutscene from the movie.
The CutScene:
The artist Phil Saunders has made an Instagram post which shows James “Rhodey”, The War Machine piloting a suit to aid in the Edinburgh battle opposite Thanos’ Black Order.

According to Saunders, this was another scene that couldn’t make it to Avengers: Infinity War. As shared on Instagram, it was Rhodey and Bruce Banner in Hulkbuster who were initially planned to be a part of the Edinburgh battle. However, Rhodey is still suffering from PTSD from the crash in the Civil War that would have been piloting War Machine remotely.
Similarity Issues
Saunders also mentioned that the scene would have been too similar to a scene in Iron Man 3, which was released in 2012. The resemblance to an already existing view would not have been something fan favourite.
War Machine
Conclusion
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War was initially released on April 27, 2018. It showed Don Cheadle in his role as Rhodes in the movie. And now, there no official word supporting a future comeback for War Machine. For a future Marvel Cinematic Universe project. Anyhow, Cheadle had recently decided to speak about the possible next step for the character.
The film is available on Digital HD, Blu-ray, 4K UHD and streaming.
