Is Johnny Depp’s Ex-Girlfriend Kate Moss Coming to Testify in His Favor in Amber Heard Trial?
The Johnny Deep vs. Amber Heard trial is causing quite a stir. It’s putting every ounce of patience we have to the test. The current news from the defamation trial is that Kate Moss, Johnny Depp’s ex-girlfriend, will testify. On Wednesday, May 25, the fashion model is expected to testify by video link. Depp’s ex-girlfriend was not expected to testify in court at first. After Amber Heard mentioned Kate in court, she was summoned to testify.
The model, who dated Depp for four years in the 1990s, was mentioned by Heard earlier this month while speaking about an alleged 2015 confrontation between her sister, Whitney Henriquez, and the actor.
Kate Moss to Testify in Court
Kate Moss, Johnny Depp’s ex-girlfriend, is scheduled to testify via video conference. According to reports, she has been brought to the witness stand by Johnny Depp’s legal team. After Amber Heard referenced a supposed incident in which Depp reportedly shoved Kate down a flight of stairs, this window of opportunity opened up.
According to Amber, Johnny and her sister, Whitney Henriquez, were having a heated argument when things got out of hand. During her testimony, Amber Heard claimed, “Whitney’s] back was to the staircase, and Johnny swings at her… I don’t hesitate, I don’t wait — I just, in my head, instantly think of Kate Moss and stairs. And I swung at him. In all of my relationships to date with Johnny, I hadn’t landed a blow. And I, for the first time, hit him, like actually hit him. Square in the face. He didn’t push my sister down the stairs.”
Will Moss’ presence benefit Depp
Beginning in 1994, Ms. Moss and Mr. Depp dated for roughly four years. Their relationship was frequently depicted as tumultuous in the press, especially after an episode in 1994 in which Mr. Depp was jailed for criminal mischief after reportedly wrecking a hotel room he shared with Ms. Moss, according to reports.
Ms. Moss has never commented publicly on Ms. Heard’s allegations that Mr. Depp shoved her down the stairs, which he denies. It’s feasible, though, that she will do so when she testifies this week. Mr. Depp’s attorney Ben Chew was observed giving an apparent fist pump when Ms. Heard referenced Kate Moss in her testimony as part of the US lawsuit, raising suspicion that her inclusion may benefit Mr. Depp’s legal team in some manner.
