Jake Bongiovi and Millie Bobby Brown are now officially engaged! The couple made their engagement announcement via Instagram on April 11. Bongiovi shared two photos from the proposal day in his post, captioning them “Forever.” Additionally, the Stranger Things actress shared a cute picture of the couple after their engagement, in which she is proudly wearing her diamond engagement ring.
She referred to Taylor Swift’s song Lover in her Instagram caption, writing, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all.”
Jon Bon Jovi’s son and the 19-year-old actress started dating in the summer of 2021, and they’ve been together ever since. They have even been seen traveling to Italy while enjoying ice cream dates and taking tender afternoon hikes.

Who is Jake Bongiovi?
Jon Bon Jovi, a renowned American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actor, is the father of Jake Bongiovi. And his mother is Dorothea Hurley, a karate instructor. His siblings include his brothers, Romeo Jon, and Jesse Bongiovi; and his older sister, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi. His parents, who met in 1980 and grew up in Sayreville, New Jersey, married in 1989 after dating throughout high school.
Apparently, Bongiovi was born in May 2002, as per his father’s Facebook fan page. He participated in football while attending Poly Prep Country Day School. He is listed as a Poly Prep ‘Blue Devil’ on the roster for the 2019–2020 academic year.

How Long Has the Newly Engaged Couple Been Together?
In June 2021, when they were spotted affectionately holding hands in New York City, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi seemingly put the rumors of their relationship to rest. Brown and Bongiovi had been dating for just over two years when they got engaged because it was expected that they were dating before they actually made it official.
Even their several social media posts had already sparked romance rumors. Last year, Bongiovi uploaded a photo of them in a car and added the hashtag “bff” and a heart to the Instagram post. Since then, people have noticed them making out all over town.
Millie Bobby Brown wrote heartfelt caption for Jake Bongiovi in October 2022, Jon Bon Jovi’s son even paid Brown a visit on the set of her film, The Electric State. Additionally, in March 2022, the two made their official red carpet-debut as a couple. Moreover, Bongiovi even attended the premiere of the newest season of Stranger Things with Brown in May 2022.
The couple announced their engagement via Instagram on April 11. Both posted pictures of themselves on their respective accounts, in which, Brown’s left ring finger was adorned with a diamond ring.
Fans interpreted the posts as an announcement even though neither of them explicitly stated they were engaged.
