“They took all my bloodwork and did a bunch of tests and the plan was to on-camera tell me all the results and then talk about how you can improve this and that.”
While many are afraid of death, the actor stated that his reality made him question “Your own mortality.”
As per reports, he has two copies of the gene ApoE4 which is an indication that he is likely to be at a high risk of developing the disease than those who don’t have both copies of the gene. To tackle his condition, he is taking preventive measures to lessen the risk as much as possible. However, given his serious condition, is it fair to say that the actor might be hinting at his retirement?

The Extraction actor has opened up about taking a break from acting especially when he learned about his medical condition. However, Tinseltown insiders have shared that his once used-to-be jam-packed schedule is now quite clear in the near future.
Apart from his four upcoming projects including his appearance as Thor in the Avengers sequel and an unnamed Hulk Hogan biopic, he is not planning for much.
A source shared that “he doesn’t plan to take on many roles because of [learning about his high risk for] Alzheimer’s.” While he has clarified about not taking any retirement, insiders are hinting otherwise. Meanwhile, he has opened up about taking preventive measures that would help him in managing his disease to avoid worst-case scenarios.
