It has been a monumental couple of years for Britney Spears. Although a lot has changed in the life of the “Princess of Pop”, her hatred for the paparazzi remains the same. The relationship between her and the tabloids has always been a complicated one. They have persisted to hound her during her private moments and continued to disrupt her from living a normal life. Although fame comes with its own drawbacks and being someone like Britney Spears is something totally else.
The singer has protested time and again against the antics of the media and has been compelled to do so yet again. After the reports claimed she was on her deathbed, she thought it was about time to draw the line.
Britney Spears was allegedly “dying”
News that surfaced on Thursday from TMZ has Britney Spears totally going haywire. Reportedly, the pop star was struggling with “mental health and substance abuse,” and thus to address those issues her inner circle planned for an intervention. The article also cited the source to be anonymous but “in regular contact with Britney”. The source allegedly said,
“I’m afraid she’s gonna die.”
Soon after the publication of the article more reputed sites such as People, Page Six, and E! Online followed its lead. TMZ claimed that the “people around Britney have become alarmed by her erratic, volatile behavior” and it was “flying off the handle.” Her manager also allegedly rented a house where the above-mentioned intervention would take place in the presence of her husband, doctors, and manager. The Spears family was not included in the plan due to obvious reasons.
Britney Spears is disgusted
All this bogus news according to Briney Spears aggravated her. She took to Instagram to complain for the nth time and politely requested them to let her live peacefully. Spears posted a picture that stated “A state of gratitude will shift you to a higher frequency,” and captioned it with her thoughts on the situation. She started with,
“It makes me sick to my stomach that it’s even legal for people to make up stories that I almost died,
She then continued,
“I mean at some point enough is enough! I’m probably going to have to stop posting on Instagram because even though I enjoy doing it, there’s obviously a lot of people who don’t wish me well! I’m honestly not surprised at all… Again doing the best I can! Again, the conservatorship has been over for almost a year… No folks, it’s not 2007… it’s 2023 and I’m making my first homemade lasagna at home! I finally got my fireplace to work in my living room! As my hubby says it best: don’t believe everything you read! All that love right back at ya!”
The recent termination of her 13-year-old conservatorship has brought peace and freedom back to her life. Although she is happy, her presence on social media platforms has sparked discussions about her well-being among her fans. She thus also reassured the worried fans by saying,
“Nope I’m not having a breakdown … I am who I am and moving forward in my life. I have never felt better !!!”
After a long time, Briney Spears is no longer afraid to take the charge in her own hands and is grateful for the opportunity every time she gets to do so.
