Recently his family announced the actor was suffering from frontotemporal dementia. This has the family running around to keep the negative effects of the disorder at bay as much as it is possible. One of the steps taken by his loved ones is to gather everyone close to Willis. This might help him in retaining his memories. It has been reported that aside from family members, his fellow co-stars have also been called in to support including Sylvester Stallone and Cybill Shepherd among others
Sylvester Stallone Shows Admirable Support for His Long-Time Friend Bruce Willis
With Bruce Willis’s worsening brain condition in the past year, his near and dears are undoubtedly worried sick about him. Dementia will lead to the loss of memories gradually. And he was also diagnosed with Aphasia last year. This has forced one of his daughters to quickly carry out her marriage ceremony. Amid all of this, the actor’s ex-wife Demi Moore is reported to have come up with a plan to help Willis. And to keep away the bad effects as much as possible.
An insider revealed to Radar Online that the Charlie’s Angels star came up with the idea. It is to gather all of the family members including Willis’ co-stars namely Cybill Shepherd, Bonnie Bedelia, and Sylvester Stallone. The idea is to have a bonding time while watching all of the Die Hard alum’s movies. The insider said,
“It may be a Hail Mary pass, but at this stage, they’re willing to try anything to keep Bruce’s memory intact for as long as they can.”
Reportedly the family is excited about the plan. And as for his co-stars, the idea is that relive the memories of working together. This might help with keeping memories sharp.
Bruce Willis Has the Support of His Expendables Co-star
Since Bruce Willis started suffering from neurological disorders, one of his co-stars Sylvester Stallone has shown support from day 1. Last year, he expressed his concern and sent Willis his regards writing,
“We go back a long way, praying for the best for you and your wonderful family,”
Stallone did reveal that after the Aphasia diagnosis, they did not have any communication. However, he has all his support and will keep on doing it. For those who may not know, Aphasia affects the person’s speech and writing abilities.
