The original Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore starring Ghost released in the 1990s is a groundbreaking movie with quite a new concept given the era. Demi Moore’s character Molly confronts the spirit world as her lover Sam (Patrick Swayze) gets murdered. Sam returns as a spirit to save Molly from the enemies. The cult classic consists few of the most iconic movie scenes along with some problematic stereotypes of the era. However, the movie was well appreciated by the viewers as well as the critics which gained it a 7.1 IMDb rating.

Channing Tatum seems excited about the Ghost remake
Tatum revealed in a playful interview with Vanity Fair that he is quite excited about his plans for the Ghost remake. He is looking forward to playing Patrick Swayze’s character in the remake. Tatum along with his team is rethinking the ways of making the remake better and well-appreciated in this day and age. An update to the classic won’t justify its true essence, however, Tatum thinks it’s important since the original had some stereotypical scenes that won’t be well-versed with the current audience.
The original movie Ghost was released in 1990 and made a whopping revenue of $500 million at the box office. With Channing Tatum‘s revelation about the movie, audiences are eagerly waiting to see what he does differently and in a better way to earn close to or even more revenue than the original.
It is going to be a real challenge, especially with the rumors of Channing Tatum’s production company thinking of a Ghost remake going viral over the internet.
